A Wrinkle in Time leaves us with a message of hope, possibility, goodness, and individuality. Why must these concepts all exist in order for the world to be “right”? How are these ideas related to events in the world today?

  1. Robyn C. Says:

As you’re a kid you have lots of possibilities.

  2. Evan.4757 Says:

These are realeted to world events because there is alaways hope like for example in iraq there is hope. the world has to have hope or there would not be a world.

  3. connor m. Says:

to hope is to wish for someone’s good health and safety like in the war every I hope the war is over and in new orlens the hurrican victims I give hope to all of them. In the book meg wishs hope for charles when leave him on caroztoz (something like that) all im saying is every one hopes for someone or something

  4. garry fisher guy 3 Says:

Ithink this helpsinthe real world because we would not exist if those things did not exist.

  5. Madison H Says:

Well in life you would think of all differnt thing of possiblitys. If you didn’t see your dad in along time you would hope for him to come back.

  6. ELMO GIRL Says:

There is hope. Like as Evan said, in Iraq there is hope with the war. But people forget that lots of people live in poverty and they need money, food, and shelter. There is hope for them, but we are the people who need to make that hope for them.
This relates to A Wrinkle In Time because there is hope for the evil to be gone. The black thing would go away and evil would be gone with a little work and a little hope.

  7. COW LUVER Says:

everyone has hope for something, if you have cancer, you hope you will get well. if you were in katrina, you hope everything will be alright. if you are in the war, you hope you will survive. or even if you have bad grades, you hope they will get better. Everyone hopes for something, and without thet a lot of things wouldn’t happen. :-)

  8. smiley Says:

I always hope for things thet really could happen. but probably won’t. :-(

  9. gabe Says:

I think the world needs hope to stay running.

  10. Mike. A Says:

I think it would nt exist in the real world becous all of the things in the book do not exist. like the IT or the man with red eyes.

  11. Darien Says:

The world needs hope otherwise we would all say ok just kill me

  12. Savannah Says:

I think it isn’t relevant to todays world, because of all the things that are exagerated

  13. Rachael Says:

with out individuals, the world would be boring and dull. hope is good to make the world running, or everybody would always be unhappy and complaining

  14. Illianna Says:

I think that love, hope, possibility, and individuality are important in the world because they make life worth living.

  15. Without hope, possibility, goodness, and individuality the world would not be what it is. Everyone has hope for something; you’ll get better from being sick, you’ll figure out what you need to, anything. There is a possibility for everything some stronger than others, but still possibility. There is a possibility that you’ll win a raffle and a possibility that you’ll win a race. Without goodness in the world everyone would be bad and there would be nobody helping someone else. Individuality makes us who we are; how smart we are, how creative we are, and what we look like.

  16. Hannah Says:

If all of these concepts didn’t exist, the world would be like Camazotz, where nobody would be able to think for them-selfs.These concepts relate to the real world, for example we all hope that the soldiers in Iraq are safe and it is possible that the war will end.

  17. Nick G. Says:

IF these concepts did not exist, the world would be a nasty place in which people do very bad things constantly. These concepts relate with our world because we all hope that the war will end and that it is possible for Iraq to have more goodness in it from then on.

  18. Rachel Says:

Well without these consepts we would all be like people from Camazotz and none would be happy. There ralted to us because we try to do things our own way and that’s what makes us learn and think differently and we creat things by being different.

  19. Princess Sam F. Says:

I always hope for stuff and most of the time I don’t get it. If everybody got what they wanted, this wuoldn’t be earth

  20. Kyle W. Says:

These concepts relate to our world situation. We must believe there is hope and good in all people. We must believe that with this good our world will change through love.

  21. T McD. Says:

Without hope there would be no perseverence and out that every person in the world would be on the streets with no were to go and with no thought of even trying to make there lives better.

  22. Gabe Says:

I agree with connor m.everyone hopes.

  23. Rachel S. Says:

I think that without these concepts, people wouldn’t know the meaning of life. Hope, possibility, goodness, and individuality is something we all need.

  24. Princess Sam F. Says:

    Then you would get bored

  25. Rachel Says:

I disagree with robyn because as you are a kid you can’t do what you want. Like you can’t skip school your parnets are in charge of you. So you can’t do or get everything you want.

  26. david.c Says:

I think world needs hope to stay running

  27. Giseleine Says:

I think that w/out these ideas, people wouldn’t know how to live.

  28. I think it relates to todays world because, you have many possibilities when you are a child. ???????????????????????

they are related to world events because without them everyone would coit suicide or something like that because they wouldn’t have any hope
